As a naturalist guide and a humanist, I consider myself an environmental educator. Nature is an inexhaustible and wonderful source of inspiration. My main goal as an educator is to help people identify themselves with the environment. Using straightforward and entertaining language, I try to teach people how to feel comfortable in the natural environment that surrounds them, to feel an integral and essential part of it, not strangers in it; to feel like one more species within the complexity of ecosystems. Ignorance is the source of many current problems today. I believe that through knowledge and information, people can become more consciously aware and act in more positive ways in their daily lives regardless of nationality, religion, age or social status. We are all part of this planet, and in one or another way, we are all responsible for its future.
