JourneySouth EcoTravel is a noncommercial ecotourism company dedicated to develop and organize educational student trips in Costa Rica.
The main goal of this educational programs is to give the students the amazing opportunity of having a firsthand immersion into the natural wonders of Costa Rica but without forgetting the cultural and social aspects of this small but interesting Central American country.
So much have been said and written about the environment and the conservation and destruction of the rainforest but unfortunately very little have been done in the real practice. In this experience the students will be directly exposed to the real truth of this beautiful but fragile ecosystems, they will learn in site about this fantastic natural environments but at the same time they will also learn about the negative impact that human been is causing to our planet and how to reverse this dangerous practices.
At the other hand our students will understand the responsibility and importance of protecting the environments and will learn in practical daily life and in simple ways how to help preserving the natural resources of their own country and how to develop environmental programs in their communities and homes as well.
All of the communities and services provided to the students during their trip are carefully selected to ensure that they g according to the philosophy and goals of the programs.
The future of our planet is certainly in our hands, let’s work together to make of this world a better place for all to live.
